6/28/2022 - The JURA Z10 wins gold at the German Innovation Awards.

The Z10 doubles the number of speciality coffees you can make. At the touch of a button, it can prepare the full range of both hot and cold brew specialities. For coffee lovers who want to enjoy their favourite beverage in all its variety, it opens up a whole new dimension. This pioneering innovation impressed the judges at the German Innovation Awards, who gave the Z10 a gold medal in the "Excellence in Business to Consumer – Kitchen" category.

Jury's verdict
This year the German Design Council once again presented the German Innovation Award to businesses that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in the form of pioneering new technologies, processes or services. The winners of the 2022 gold medal – the highest honour awarded in this competition – included JURA Elektroapparate AG.

The company was chosen to receive the top honour in the "Excellence in Business to Consumer" class, in the "Kitchen" category, for the Z10. A masterpiece of Swiss engineering, the new Z10 doubles the range of speciality coffees. At the touch of a button it prepares the full spectrum of hot drinks from intense espresso to on-trend flat white. It also opens up a whole new dimension in the enjoyment of coffee with the introduction of cold brew specialities. This is made possible thanks to the Product Recognising Grinder (P.R.G.), which recognises the chosen speciality and instantly and precisely adjusts the fineness of grind accordingly.

"The new Z10 automatic coffee machine from JURA doesn't just prepare classic hot speciality coffees. Thanks to special technology, it also offers the increasingly popular cold brew versions. As well as being simple and intuitive to use, it is visually timeless, elegant and refined, allowing it to fit harmoniously into many different environments. It's a highly successful design and the cold brew capability puts it one step ahead of its competitors," said the jury.
