Cleaning the machine
Cleaning extends the life of your coffee machine and keeps the coffee quality at the highest level. Clean your ENA as soon as the machine prompts you to do so. Only use JURA cleaning tablets, which are specially designed to work with the cleaning programme.
Descaling the machine
Scale is the biggest enemy of any appliance that uses water. Descale your ENA as soon as the machine prompts you to do so. Only use JURA descaling tablets, which remove scale gently to extend the life of your coffee machine.
Changing the filter
Regularly changing the filter ensures that the water is always freshly filtered and good for you. After 50 litres of water have flowed through the filter, the ENA will prompt you to change it. The filter will cease to work after two months regardless of how much water flows through it. You should change the filter after this time even if the machine does not prompt you to.
